Building an Airship
I’ve started to get to the interesting side of my survival world. Create: Aeronautics is extremely survival friendly, and I was able to build an airship fairly early on. Here are some screenshots.
Early On

Achievement
I looked at a diagram of the ship midway through. Yay, I guess..!

Finished

I don’t have a use for these rooms yet. Being a slow ship, I feel it’s useful for setting up shop anywhere.

Anchorage
It uses this Sticker as an anchor. It’s connected with a remote control placed on board.

Maiden Voyage

This was the first real trip with the airship. It’s quite slow with a maximum velocity of what I estimate is 5m/s. I picked up my sister; she walked to this village last time & ended session there. We typically play in the evenings after dinner, so she gets tired and hops off Minecraft to relax with parents. I switch between shaders & not depending on how much performance my PC seems to be getting.

Other
My sister baking bread. Nice to see her in Minecraft enjoying herself.

She’s very helpful; she helped me move the sheep to a larger pen.

I need all this wool to build ‘windmills’ for power generation. A lot easier than Steam Engines. I finished off the last play session with me setting up an iron farm then a creeper jumping me.
Iron Farms
Iron is generated through;
- Cobblestone being mined (with drills)
- Cobble crushed into Gravel using Create’s Millstones
- Gravel being ‘washed’ with a chance of having an iron nugget or flint
- Dispose of flint.
- ‘Washing’ is a jet of air from a fan flowing through a water source.
- Nuggets into bars. finished!

Thankyou for reading! In future I hope to fix problems with the styling of this page, particularly the images. I have assignments to get to. I like how I can just paste images here & describe what happened quite verbosely. It’s easier for me since I struggle putting thoughts into words coherently.
