On the weekend (16.05.2026) I started a new Minecraft world with Create: Aeronautics installed. I truly don’t have the time to begin a Minecraft world (nor to be doing this blog) but I wanted to write an example article that’s also an update I can share with others.
Create: Aeronautics was released about a month ago now. It’s a mod that’s been 3 years in development and adds physics. I can make airships, airplanes, boats, cars…

“Anything you dream of, you can make! Zero limits!”
And it’s surprisingly survival friendly. Create (another mod released ~6y ago & major updated 2y ago) adds Andesite Alloy, which is the iron/cobble/wood essential for Create. 1 alloy is crafted from 2 Iron Nuggets and 2 Andesite. Thing is, you need a lot of it, which is what makes it a challenge.
With Create: Aeronautics, I can make physics-interacting structures with something called the Physics Assembler. It’s crafted from a lever… 4 alloy? and Andesite Casing (made from andesite alloy and a stripped log) making it SUPER cheap.
My main challenge with Minecraft such far is making it fun to mine. I want to build a starter house, but I also want to get the base gear to do so. Thing is you can just straight up skip the starter level of the mod, go to the Nether for the 2nd stage’s materials, and return home to get automation going.
What is Create..?
Create as a base mod adds a bunch of automation and moving parts in case you haven’t heard of it by now. Gulps in out of order
Boats are kind of hard in C:Aero (I’ll refer to these addons as C:addon from now on) because water physics aren’t perfect & propellers are quite slow. Airships are relatively easy. You need a Hot Air Burner & lots of Hot Air Envelopes to get enough lift. I got a wool farm going quite quickly, my younger sister played with me for a session and she was kind and got some sheep and a cow into a pen. I however… heh… accidentally crafted a whole stack of wool into “White Cushion” blocks from another mod instead of the cheaper Envelopes I actually needed… I’ll probably make a bouncy castle at some point.
Thankyou for reading such far, I hope to continue my gameplay diary entries.
